About

This tray, designed to mimic the shape of a flower petal, showcases my knowledge of working with wood. I created this tray for personal use, making it the smallest scale model of the furniture I've designed. First, I sketch the design onto a suitably sized wooden board and roughly cut it out using a machine. The key feature of this design is the varying heights at the ends, which replicate the naturally curved characteristics of flower petals. I then hand-carve the details to refine the shape. After engraving the desired text with a laser and applying oil for a finish, the tray is complete.
